Team Jungle has released a new update to the infamous Jungleflasher software.

A few added features:
What’s new/fixed:
* No Lite-On LT spoofing
No longer says copied ID strings when target is LT
No longer Shows false spoof when LT is “spoofed” with older JF ver
- previous versions are not forward compatible with LT
- they may put spoof in place but LT will ignore it.

* Hitachi Support
Bug fix – master checksum now set when auto-spoofing Stock Hitachi
Master Checksum now set when spoofing stock Hitachi in firmtools.
Bug fix – JF no longer crashes when saving encrypted Hitachi.

* General Support
IRC tab that calls a Java IRC client in embedded browser window
requires 2 dll’s… included

This DS mod was created in Atlanta and was Auctioned of on ebay for charity. This DS Mod is a god send to Zelda fans. We would have loved to make a bid but unfortunately some lucky guy has already purchased it. Check out Pictures of the Zelda DS Mod.

Yako200 released X360 Cfg Editor v1.0, it allows you to edit the config.bin and nand.bin which allows it to change config settings on an exploited Jtag capable Xbox 360.

Official Readme translated from Spanish to English:

“This utility allows you to easily edit Config.bin and NAND.BIN format files to change config settings on exploited Xbox 360 consoles. for config file(s): 32Kb (nandpro) for nand file(s): 16Mb, (66M), 256Mb, 512Mb (nandpro) The current version will allow you to easily change these settings: Console video format: PAL-> NTSC / NTSC-> PAL DVD Region: 01 .. 08, ALL regions Game Region: USA, EUR, KOR, JAP Other settings will be added in the next version Once the file is edited, you will have to inject it on your exploited Xbox360 again, so the Xbox360 will boot with the modified settings. This has got to be one of the craziest Xbox 360 mods we have ever seen. The creator has taken obvious inspiration from Transofmers and has come up with a wonderfully unique twist on an Xbox 360 Mod. This Mod was created by a modder by the name givintats. This Xbox 360 does not stand out as a console. One would never assume that this beautiful cube is an Xbox 360. This cube was hand etched and painted. The innards of a Xbox 360 lay safely inside. Check out some of the Pics of this cool Xbox 360 mod.

Raguaviva a DS hacker has hacked the DS to work with a wired optical mouse. He uses the mouse as one would use a typical mouse as he demonstrates  in a paint type program, but perhaps the coolest application is that he has found a way to use the optical mouse as a low quality camera. This DS hack is a very cool idea that needs to be put to good use. Im sure with a little innovation this could be something  even better. Check out this video of this cool DS hack.

A user known as Youwei from 4 colour rebellion webiste has submitted one of the coolest looking DS Mods we have ever seen. He has spent alot of time and effort to pull of this great looking cosmetic DS Mod. This DS Mods looks like a PAL SNES rather that the much uglier american version. Check out the pitures of this cool DS Mod.

Wiitendo Wii mod

The Wiitendo Mod is basically a Wii inside the shell of a gutted NES. LEDs have been added and can be used with the power button. The original controller ports have been converted into gamecube controller ports. A Gamecube memory card has also been intergtated.  The creator of this Wii mod had to perform much rewiring and soldering, using a dremmel to cut out almost all of the original NES hardware. The top can also be opened giving acces to Wii SD card and other features. The eject button can be found in a small hole in the front that can be poked with a pin or something somilar. Check out the video of this Wii Mod in action.

Geohots recent blog post labeled “on the isolated SPUs” has created much attention as bunch script kiddie’s has generated a foray of negative comments aimed at Mr Geohot. The main culprit in this affair is by a user named 1 … who makes it very clear he does not like Geohot.

“It’s nothing but a hardware enabled memory glitch…which, with the rig shown in the pictures would work on ANYTHING with a chip in it and you still couldn’t run any REAL code. “hacking” it while ON with the system locking up or being damaged more often than triggering the glitch is NOT A HACK.”

“Don’t claim you’ve hacked what you haven’t, or be as lame as this ‘glitch’ your trying to ride your coat-tails on, to unfounded glory.”

^^Oh yea, stupid me asking people to do something, I forgot how worthless they were. You get me the iPhone AES key and I’ll admit the PS3 isn’t hacked.”

We here at Modsandhacks expect this type of behaviour to continue until an a full hack is released, I guess this poses the real question of what is the definition of a hack.
