Gameboy emulator for PSP
Play Gameboy and GBA games on PSP
The idea of playing Gameboy games on a PSP is quite ironic, who would of thought that Gameboy games would be played on its biggest rival the PSP. We here a Modsnadhacks appreciate this and so have written a little on what you need to know to get started.
You will need a hacked PSP to run this emulator on your PSP. The name of the emulator is GPSP. In my opinion this is only GBA psp emulator worth using. GPSP was created by Exophas and is currently still under development and has ported by ZodTTD.
This emulator supports full audio, meaning you no longer have glitches and bad sound quality, it also supporsts the full system memory of 64mb making it a little better than some other Psp emulators. This PsP emulator also supports Tv out allowing you to play GBA games from your Psp on your television in full screen.
Download GPSP and learn how to install GPSP emulator
heres a little footage of a working game.
Emulators for the PSP: Play Mario on your PSP
The emulation scene for PSP is thriving, and as a result many PSP homebrew applications have spawned . Here we will give you a brief introduction to why we like PSP emulators and what to expect form them.
PSP Emulators have been developed to play most of the games on many of the old console, my favourite being the PSP SNES emulator. Playing Mario on my PSP is still surprisingly satisfying, as the PSP button layout almost perfectly emulates the Snes controller layout. the great thing about playing Snes games on PSP is that it comes with added perks. for example instead of having a box full of old game cartridges, we can now store hundreds if not thousands of roms files (games) on a single SD card. this means that you can keep you whole library with you on the go at all times.
PSP emulators don’t only support Snes, i also love playing games on my PSP Gba emulator. in fact PSP can play games from a range of retro consoles. Here is a list o of just a few i use:
RIN 1.4 Gameboy & Gameboy Color emulator
InfoNES 0.94j r0.3: A NES emulator
Famicontest 0.31: A NES emulator
DGEN 1.0: A Sega Genesis emulator
Snes9x PSP 0.02: A SNES emulator
ngPsp 1.3.1: A Neo Geo Pocket emulator
Nintencer 0.1.1: ANES emulator
